Terms of Service
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency ("Sanityde") and the service recipients ("Clients," "you," or "your"). By soliciting and using the services we refer ("Services"), you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. Please note that the domestic workers who perform the Services ("Contractors") are not our employees, but are matched with clients through our CCDRA compliant processes.
Booking online is the first step to secure your desired date and time, but it does not guarantee a spot. Following your booking request, you will be contacted by email or phone for confirmation. To reserve your cleaning date and time, a deposit of $70 is required. This deposit will be applied to your total cleaning cost and is typically non-refundable, unless the cancellation is made within 48 hours of your booking or is due to an error on our part. Please read the Cancellation Policy for more details.
Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency collaborates with professional cleaners, depending on the complexity of the job or schedule. We strive to minimize cleaner rotation to ensure consistent service. All independent cleaning professionals referred by us have undergone rigorous and thorough vetting to ensure professionalism, dependability, and trust.
Cleaning Day Preparation
Your cleaning price is based on the domestic workers focusing on cleaning tasks. Please ensure the area is tidy to allow easy access to areas/surfaces to be cleaned. If you require the referred cleaners to perform tidying tasks, please contact our agency in advance for an adjusted cleaning fee.
Cleaners Arrival Window
We schedule cleanings to minimize drive time and maintain low prices. While we make every effort to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee exact arrival times. Please allow flexibility for unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic jams or weather. You can rest assured that any unforeseen delays on our end will be proactively communicated.
Sanityde does not offer services on holidays. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule. Below is a list of our observed Holidays:

Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency coordinates a variety of cleaning services for residential and managed properties. These services include, but are not limited to, deep cleaning, standard cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, and additional service offerings as described on our website or in our promotional materials.
We coordinate additional services for an extra charge, such as cleaning interior windows and sills, detailing blinds, and cleaning inside kitchen cabinets, ovens, fridges, and more.
What We Cannot Clean
We are not liable for any mold-related risks in clients' homes, and we cannot coordinate cleaning for hoarding situations or areas containing human or animal body fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter boxes, bird cages, pests, or urine.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items
For safety and liability reasons, the domestic workers cannot climb higher than a step stool or work outside of your home. They also cannot move objects weighing more than 35 pounds. If you'd like cleaning behind heavy objects, please move them before the cleaning professionals arrive.
We refer professionals who provide the equipment and products necessary for a thorough cleaning. If you prefer green cleaning products or your own supplies, please notify the cleaning professionals before the service begins. Note that Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency is not responsible for any damage caused by client-provided products.
We happily refer domestic workers who are accustomed to working around pets, but ask that indoor activity is limited for cleaning efficiency and safety reasons.
If your pet becomes anxious or presents a safety concern, the cleaning professionals have the right to cease their services.
Cleaning professionals are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat, as pets may behave differently when a family member is not present. If the cessation of cleaning services is due to aggressive pets, the cancellation policy of the cleaning professionals will apply.
Clients must complete the appropriate form on our website or contact us directly. Quotes and the cost-calculator are provided based on the information received by the Client and are subject to change if the actual cleaning requirements differ from the initial request. By booking services through Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency, Clients agree to pay the quoted price and any additional charges incurred due to changes in the scope of work.
Recurring Service Discount
Recurring discounts begin AFTER the first cleaning service. If you skip cleanings, your price will be increased to match the lower frequency level.
The $70 deposit is required to reserve your cleaning date and time. Payment for Services is due upon completion of the cleaning job. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, check, and credit card.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand that life happens and schedules change, so we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason. This helps us maintain our high level of service and avoid disruptions to our schedule. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a $70 cancellation fee.
Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the quoted price for the scheduled Service.
Upon booking a cleaning service with Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency, a deposit is required to secure the service. This deposit is part of the total service fee, not an additional charge.
Deposit Refund Policy
If Sanityde fails to fulfill the service as agreed in the service agreement, the deposit will be fully refunded to the customer. Refunds of deposits may also occur in the following situations:
- The customer cancels the service in accordance with the cancellation policy as stated in our Terms of Service.
- Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency is unable to provide the booked service due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.
All deposit refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to be processed can vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Sanityde reserves the right to amend or revise this deposit refund policy at any time, and changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. We recommend customers to regularly check our Terms of Service for any changes or updates.
We do not offer refunds. We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible service, but we also recognize that we are human and may occasionally miss something. If this happens, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will work to make it right, at no extra charge.
In the event that a payment becomes overdue, the following late payment policy will apply:
- Grace Period: Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency offers a grace period of one (1) calendar days from the invoice due date. During this grace period, customers can pay their overdue balance without incurring any late fees or penalties.
- Late Payment Fee: If a customer fails to make a payment within the grace period, a late payment fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance will be applied to their account for each month or part of a month that the payment remains overdue.
- Interest Charges: In addition to the late payment fee, interest will accrue on the outstanding balance at a rate of 10% per annum, calculated daily and compounded monthly, until the balance is paid in full.
- Suspension of Services: Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency reserves the right to suspend or terminate any ongoing services for customers with overdue payments. Services will not be resumed until the outstanding balance, including any late fees and interest, is paid in full.
- Collection Agency: If a customer's account remains unpaid for more than sixty (60) days, Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency may, at its discretion, refer the account to a collection agency for debt recovery. The customer will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred by Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency in the collection process, including collection agency fees, legal fees, and any other related costs.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the customer acknowledges and accepts the Late Payment Policy as outlined above.
If the domestic workers are unable to access your premises, we will attempt to contact you for entry. If contact is not made within 20 minutes, the scheduled cleaning will be skipped, and a $70 late cancellation fee will be charged. To avoid this fee, be sure to provide the cleaner with a key or code to gain entry to your home, if you expect to be away at the scheduled time of service.
If your home has a security system, please ensure it is turned off or provide us with the code and proper directions for use. If the code changes, please notify us to avoid a lockout charge.
Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency maintains appropriate insurance coverage to protect our company. We serve as the intermediary between Clients and independent cleaning professionals and thus, are not responsible for any pre-existing damage or conditions at the Client's property. Clients are encouraged to notify us of any fragile or valuable items on the premises and provide instructions for their care which we will relay to the referred cleaners.
Notice Regarding Employment Status of Referred Domestic Workers
Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency is not the employer of the domestic worker it referred to you. The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her work, you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and workers' compensation, under state and federal law. For additional information, please contact your local Employment Development Department and the Internal Revenue Service.
It is your responsibility, as the user of our services, to understand and comply with any employment-related obligations. We recommend seeking legal advice or consulting relevant authorities if you are unsure about these obligations.
SMS Terms and Conditions
By opting into Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency's SMS notifications, you agree to receive text messages related to booking confirmations, appointment reminders, updates, and occasional promotions. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. To opt-out of our SMS notifications, reply STOP at any time. For assistance or more information, reply HELP or contact our customer support. We respect your privacy and will not share your phone number with third parties without your consent. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission to do so.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
While rare, accidents can happen. The domestic workers referred to you by Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency exercise reasonable care when cleaning your home. However, as a referral agency, we are not directly responsible for any damage or breakage caused by the cleaners. Any claim for damage or breakage should be made directly to the cleaner or their liability insurance provider. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper installation, or undisclosed artwork, collectibles, or heirlooms may not be covered. Please notify the cleaner and us within 24 hours of any breakage or loss.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency, its agents, and referred cleaners from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with the Client's use of the cleaning services arranged through Sanityde, breach of these Terms, or their negligence or willful misconduct. It is understood that the cleaning services are provided by independent service providers, and not employees or agents of Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency.
Sanityde is not liable for damage to fragile or valuable items if adequate instructions are not provided by the Client.
Any reference to specific products, services, or other information by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, or otherwise does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or recommendation by Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency. Clients acknowledge that they are solely responsible for their own decisions related to the use or purchase of any third-party products or services mentioned or referenced during the provision of the cleaning services arranged through Sanityde. It is understood that the cleaning services are provided by independent service providers, and not employees or agents of Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sanityde Cleaning Referral Agency, its agents, and independent service providers referred by Sanityde shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the use of the cleaning services arranged through Sanityde, or the inability to use these services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the total liability of Sanityde to a Client for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by the Client for the cleaning services provided.
Security and Unauthorized Access
- User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this provision.
- Prohibited Activities: You agree not to access (or attempt to access) the Site or any of its content, systems, or services by any means other than through the provided interfaces. You shall not use any "deep-link," "page-scrape," "robot," "spider," or any other automated means to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission. Additionally, you agree that you will not take any action that imposes, or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, or interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site.
- Security Measures: We employ reasonable security measures to protect the Site and our users' information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. By using the Site, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the transmission of information over the Internet.
- Reporting Security Incidents: If you become aware of any security incident, vulnerability, or potential threat to the Site or its users, you agree to notify us immediately by emailing [email@example.com]. We will investigate and take appropriate action to address the reported issue.
- Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your violation of this Security and Unauthorized Access section, or any other violation of the Terms of Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of California.
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. Your continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of any amendments to these Terms.
